This painting class will explore various painting processes and techniques using a range of media such as, oil, acrylic, watercolour, mixed media, oil sticks, gouache and collage. Four sessions per term of this course will be “open studio” giving students the opportunity to paint what they like in any media. These sessions are designed to encouraging creative thinking. Students will work from observational studies such as: still life; figure(portrait); and en plein air. Suitable for both beginners to intermediate levels.
Studio will be opened until 3:00pm on Tuesdays and students are encouraged to stay back to use the studios resources and continue painting. No extra charge.
