This term our Teen folio prep students have been busy learning the art of sculpture. Our topic is self portraits. Students started with drawing their face from various angles and observing planes.  They are now onto the building stage of modelling out of clay which will then be fired and glazed. Students will learn how to make a one piece plaster mould to be cast out of solid plaster. The idea is to have a total of two sculptures by the end of the term. Looking great so far.
