Early Teenagers (12- 14yr) – Wednesdays

This 8 week course is designed for students who are passionate in learning and furthering their skills in art making. The classes will provide students with the fundamentals in painting, drawing.  Classes will explore a variety of mediums such as pencils; charcoal; markers; watercolour; gouache; oil paint and collage. Students will work from still life and portraiture by which they will learn to plan and compose finished art pieces.

The course can be ongoing and provide a pathway into the schools Folio Preparation classes. Spaces are limited to 10 students per term allowing more one on one time.  Please note that not all materials are not provided. A list of recommended materials will be sent to students on enrolment. The studio will provide A2 cartridge paper, and basic drawing materials.

Some materials included.

Max: 8 students.

Students are to bring an A5 drawing sketchbook;  A4 watercolour sketchbook; assorted soft brushes; an A2 corflute folio; assorted lead pencil set;  hard and kneadable eraser and a 30 cm ruler.
